The Idaho British Car Club (IBCC) is delighted to announce its Summer Tour to Redmond, Oregon, scheduled for June 17-20, 2025. This event promises to be a memorable journey filled with scenic drives, camaraderie, and an impressive display of classic British restorations and daily drivers. Enthusiasts will gather to showcase their vehicles, exchange stories, and enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of the Pacific Northwest.


Participants will embark on a journey that begins in Idaho and other points, traversing picturesque routes that highlight the region's natural beauty before arriving in the charming town of Redmond. The tour will include various activities such as organized drives, a car show, and social gatherings, providing ample opportunities for members to connect and celebrate their shared passion for British cars. First car registration for $45, register a second car for $10.

Please note: ST'25 T-Shirts you order will be available in your registration packets at the event or at an IBCC meeting after September 21st. DO NOT pay for shipping if you will be in Redmond or at an IBCC meeting!


Event Schedule:


Tuesday, June 17:

  • Travel to Redmond (Boise to Redmond has a lunch stop in John Day, OR. You can purchase a box lunch for $16.50 each with your registration).
  • Check into your hotel. (Hotel Reservations)
  • Check in at the Summer Tour ’25 sign-in table at the Hampton Inn for your Summer Tour ’25 information packet. Registration is open from approximately 2:30 to 5 PM.
  • Opening Reception will be held at Wild Ride Brewing at 332 SW Fifth Street in Redmond beginning at 5:30 PM. There will be a variety of food trucks on location for your dining pleasure. Check your registration packet for information on complimentary and discounted beverages.


Wednesday, June 18: 

  • This day is a free day to explore Central Oregon. There are many sights to see and places to visit. End the day with dinner at one of Redmond’s eateries.  See your registration packet for more information or explore Central Oregon opportunities on the internet.



Special activities (Sign up on your registration form):

  • Enjoy cart races at K1 Speed in Bend. This noon package includes three races and awards ceremony. Drinks are available on site and you are welcome to bring your lunch. Price is $65 per person. Note, each participant is required to sign the K1 Speed waiver of liability. If you register for this event, you will receive an email with a link to the IBCC group waiver page. Instructions will be included in the email.


  • Half Day Lava Tube Cave Tour. This 9 AM package includes a four-hour tour with a trained naturalist exploring the lava tube caves east of Bend. Price is $120 per person with a maximum of eight. 

Half Day Lava Tube Cave Tour registration is at capacity and closed.


  • NEW TOUR: Half-Day Volcano Tour - includes three stops and short hikes to see a waterfall, a natural obsidian trail and a viewpoint for a mountain peak. The tour lasts about four hours. Your registration includes a guide and transportation from Bend. Further details will be provided at registration check-in.


  • Chocolate Tour with Hot Chocolate and Samples. This 3 PM package includes a 90-minute tour of a boutique chocolate operation in Bend with hot chocolate and samples. Price is $89 per person with a minimum of six.


  • Drive the McKenzie Pass—Santiam Pass Scenic Byway with a no-host lunch at Takoda's Restaurant in McKenzie Bridge, OR. We will email route and other details two weeks before the event.

  • Shops and eateries in Sisters...west of Redmond
  • High Desert Museum...east of Bend
  • Newberry National Volcano Monument...east of Bend
  • Paulina Lake...east of Bend
  • Bend Ale Passport…visit up to 30 breweries in the Bend/Redmond area. 
  • Camp Sherman and the Headwaters of the Metolius River...west of Sisters
  • Tumalo Lavender Farm...east of Redmond
  • Erickson Aircraft Collection…Madras

Thursday, June 19:

  • Summer Tour ’25 Car Show is being held at the Deschutes County  Expo Center from 10 AM to 3PM. Bring a lunch or purchase from nearby vendors. 
  • Summer Tour ’25 banquet and awards presentation will also be held at the Deschutes County Expo Center beginning at 5:30 PM with a no-host bar. The catered buffet dinner will be at 6:15 PM with raffle drawings and car show award presentations to follow. We have a large space reserved for the banquet, so some cars will be joining us. Please use your registration form to make your dinner reservations.
