Southwest Idaho All British Field Meet 2024

September 21-22, 2024

A production of the Idaho British Car Club and
Lyle Pearson Jaguar Boise, Land Rover Boise, & Ineos Grenadier Dealerships

Saturday, the 21st Events:

Join us for good conversation about cars, projects, road trips, and breakfast in the IBCC dining room with photos of members' cars looking down on us.

DEADLINE TO SIGN UP: September 14th

Come with us as we make our way from the hustle and bustle of city life on a drive to the farmlands of Canyon county. This will include a drive along the Snake River Canyon with the canyon walls on one side, the Snake River on the other, a refreshing contrast to the arid landscape. As we leave the river behind us, we will drive through rolling hills blanketed in vineyards on both sides of the road. Row upon row of grapevines stretched towards the horizon, a testament to the region's rich winemaking tradition. Next we might detect the sweet scent of hops, signaling a shift in the scenery as we pass weathered barns and fields dotted with hop poles, their delicate green cones dangling like festive ornaments, promising a frosty pint at a brewery down the road.

DEADLINE TO SIGN UP: September 7th

Whether it is a lunch on the open patio in the warm Idaho sun overlooking row after row of meticulously tended vines stretched towards the horizon with their emerald leaves a vibrant contrast to the distant, rolling hills or in their barrel room with dim light casting an amber glow over the towering rolls of aged oak barrels with a scent giving you a promise of what's to come, you will hear the rhythmic clinking of glasses and murmur of conversation as the only sounds breaking the peaceful ambiance, making it the perfect spot to savor a delicious pairing of locally-sourced fare and the winery's finest vintages.

We begin our tour at the heart of the operation. For the winery, it is a sprawling room filled with gleaming stainless steel tanks where the grapes are transforming into future vintages. Our guide, a passionate viticulturist, explains the intricacies of grape selection and the magic of fermentation. At the hop farm, we are greeted by a seemingly endless sea of green – rows upon rows of towering trellises draped with delicate hop cones. The earthy aroma hangs heavy in the air as we learn about the different hop varieties and their unique contributions to the brewing process. Both tours culminate in a delightful treat: at the winery, a tasting of their latest creations, and at the hop farm, the promise of a frosty beer crafted with the very hops we'd admired.

Top off the evening with our welcoming reception at Tully park, 2500 N Linder Rd, Meridian, ID. Tantalize your taste buds with smokey meats and delicious sides catered by Goodwood BBQ and NO-HOST beer and wine from the Mad Swede. Your registration includes you and a co-driver.
